We just realized how remiss we have been in keeping our Elixir blog current! It’s been just over a year since Whistler Elixir opened our brewery in Function Junction and started selling at the Whistler and Pemberton Farmers Markets. What a year it’s been! Lots of ups and downs as well as trial and error! We are so grateful for the support of the Whistler and Sea to Sky Corridor community. Elixir has grown from our two initial Marchisio fermenters to eight, with a ninth coming soon! We now have two amazing employees in Whistler locals Kelsey and Sarah. There was also some extra space in our brewery that we have shared with our friends Chrissy and Mat and their amazing business Hammer Coffee Roasting. We’ve grown our on tap and bottle business quickly and are now in 24 locations in Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish! Our flavour lineup has expanded to 6 flavours with addition of Liquid Gold and Mountain High. We are using all organic ingredients now and have an application pending for certified organic status. The 2019 farmers market seasons recently began and we are at Pemberton Fridays from 330 to 6 and Whistler Sundays from 11 to 4. Our brewery tap hours are now Thursdays from 4 to 6. Please stop by one of these for a tasting! With our growth and increased deliveries we recently outgrew both of our cars so replaced one of them with a white Ford Transit Connect cargo van. We’re having it wrapped soon by our Nordic neighbour and amazing designer Barrett Hepburn, keep an eye out for it around town and say hello anytime!
